As we discussed, Plato believes we can reach objective truth through the disciplined use of rational thought. Other than mathematics, do you agree with Plato? Are there objective truths in the universe? Explain why you think so.

I think there could be objective truths in the universe, but its hard to say. Plato viewed the world very differently than most people. With enough thought anything can have some objective truths. I would have to agree with plato in a way, saying that there can be other objective truths in the universe. But i would also not agree with him because his thinking was on a completely different level, wether that be good or bad is up to the veiwer.
i do agree with him i think they're objective truths like, the sun will rise tomorrow, that has never failed us before.
i do agree with plato. there are most definately oblective truths in our world. in fact, there are many. for an example, our heart has to be beating for us to survive. if our heart is still beating, we are still alive, at least our bodies are. it would not be practical to say that there are no objective truths.

Yes i belive there is objective truths. there has to be. Something we dont know for sure but there are things i know for sure. For example my name is anna and im 16 years old and im 5'2. That i know is fact. I know that to be true and fact. But if someone told me there name is andrew i wouldnt know that for a fact. I think the only objective truths are ones that u know about urself to be true.
...yes i believe in objective truths like the baby growing within my body is mine... which is the truth. i believe that there are some things we don't know but there are also things that we all know for sure which is objective.
i do beleive there are ojective truths that exist in the world. like if i dont try hard and take pride in what i do i will never be succesful. unless i hit the lotto.
