Why study Ethics?
Over the past week or so we've discussed various philosophies concerning how we make our ethical choices. Ethics has and continues to be one of the central questions in philosophy, but why? Why is it so important to study questions of ethics and how does it pertain to you as an individual?

Ethics is important because ethics is very personal. Everybody has different views on that matter. When studying questions of ethics it allows us to have our personal veiws taken in, and helps us more so answer questions like why we are here and so on. As an induvidual my veiw of ethics is dofferent from the next persons.

The questions of Ethics is an important one because it helps set the morals in a society. When everyone in a society collaborates and decides what is ethical and what is not, they form a set of morals or behavioral guidelines that everyone is expected to follow. The only problem with ethics is that every person has their opinion of what is ethical and what is not. When you ask me if i would take an extra $20 in change at Taco Bell, i probably say yes; but the next person you ask might have a different outlook on things.
I think that ethics is very important because it gives you a lot to think about;especially the fact of why we're here and all the other things that happen in our lifetime. Everything,no matter what it is; has a history.We study Ethics because it's for our own knowledge.
Why not..I mean its kind of important to know. When we study it, it shows how we think and how we act indivduals. When we study ethics it helps us figure out what we believe to be ok and what is really right.
i think it is important to study ethics because it is our way of life. we use ethics every day. your ethics show what time of person you really are.
