So.....how do we acquire knowledge anyway?

So we've discussed 3 ways in which philosophers argue that we acquire knowledge; rationalism (through reason we gain objective knowledge), empiricism (through our sense experience) and constructivism (we "construct" knowledge based on our science, language, etc.) gaining subjective knowledge. Which of these 3 theories would you say you most agree with? Give at least 2 reasons why.

empiricism makes the most sence to me because you have to experiance something to learn it you dont already know and like pavlov rewarded his dogs for doing something correct and the dogs are more likley to repeate the actions because it was rewarded and it will learn to do this action.

I think that empiricism is the best explaination of how people build up and learn new knowledge. You have to do something that you want to learn so you have the experience of the new information or whatever it is that you newly learned.

I agree with rationalism the most. When you use reason and logic to come to a conclusion about something, it is more objective because it is not affected by beliefs and not gained though experience which may be invalid because of the way you percieved that experience. Every person is different and you cant have knowledge through the senses because everyone sees things differently, but logic is not changed by sense because logic can not be affected by them, therefore rationalism is the best way to acquire knowledge.

I agree with empiricism because its most logic first of all and also the fact that everyone uses it. its one of the oldest ways we aquire reality.

I agree with rationalism because there is a reason behind evrything we know. Experience will provide different knowledge for everyone. Reasoning and logic can provide a common knowledge in a lot of people. Rationalism backs up facts by reasoning and logic that makes sence.
