I think people choose to do so because they were always thought to do the right thing so the naturaly do whats moral/ethical.
well some people look at the consequences of their actions believe it or not. But when faced with making an important decision that requires ethics there are a few things that might be running through your mind. Who would your decision benefit? What are the negative consequences of your actions to other people? And what would the outcome of your decision look like for you?
